Black Lives Matter: Cincinnati calls for individuals and organizations in Cincinnati, OH and across the country, to join our fight for a conviction of former University of Cincinnati Police officer Ray Tensing that on July 19th shot and murdered Sam DuBose.

After many postponments and a hung jury, Ray Tensing’s retrial is schedule to start on May 25th. We will be organizing through the Countdown to Conviction Coalition (CTCC) in collaboration with other organizations to pressure for a guilty verdict. WE WILL ACCEPT NOTHING BUT A CONVICTION.

CTCC is working on a series of events to bring awareness about this fight. Join us today!

– We invite chruches, mosques, synagoges and any spiritual/religious organizations to hold discussions with your congregations about the case of Sam DuBose and the epidemic of police killings of poor people and people of color, urging members to actively get involved for change.

– We invite students of all ages (College, High Schools, etc.) and student organizations to organize tach-ins and walk-outs. To create student led spaces for discussions and protest. Is this the society we want to live in?

– We invite unions and workers to join ranks, call actions and stand up for our brothers and sisters which are getting killed with no accountability.

– We invite individual concerned citizens to get involved, hold discussions with friends, come to Black Lives Matter: Cincinnati events and join canvassing teams to spread the word!

Participation is our strength, our power is only bounded by our immagination and willingness to fight!

If you or your organization would like to join the countdown to conviction with your own event please contact us on facebook or email us at
